The sensor has a robust stainless steel housing and can be used for applications from -40°C to +60°C. The high-quality and precise device is certified according to SIL2 and can be used flexibly with the measuring range from 0 to 2.1% vol. ATEX certification is optionally available. A 4 to 20 mA signal output is available for evaluation of the sensor signals.

Gas detectors of the ZMF series rely on the maintenance-free and reliable NDIR measurement method. Non-dispersive infrared absorption (NDIR) uses the absorption of infrared light at different wavelengths to measure gas concentrations, depending on the gas to be measured.
