Further product information

The sensor has a robust stainless steel housing and can be used for applications from -20 C° to +50 °C. The high-quality and precise SF6 sensor is certified according to SIL2 and can be used flexibly due to its wide measuring range from 0 to 2,000 ppm. ATEX certification is optionally possible. A 4...20 mA signal output is available for evaluation of the sensor signals.

The measurement of gas concentrations is essential for the protection of man and machine as well as for the monitoring of environmental and process conditions. It is not uncommon for an unintentional leakage of these gases to lead to dangerous situations. Our sensors and transmitters for gas detection support the user in optimal process control and ensure safe environmental conditions.

The detection of the concentration of gases in the air can be realized with different measuring principles. Gas detectors of the ZMF series rely on the maintenance-free and reliable NDIR measurement method. Non-dispersive infrared absorption (NDIR) uses the absorption of infrared light at different wavelengths to measure gas concentrations, depending on the gas to be measured.
