Further product information
The measuring transducer TK101Ex is also approved for use in explosive atmospheres Ex zone 0 (Cat. 1). For this purpose, the measuring transducer must be supplied with an intrinsically safe control circuit. The resistance signal of the measurement transducer is converted to an unit current signal (4...20 mA). If there is an error in the connecting to the transducer chain, it is displayed with a current value I > 22 mA. The maximum burden resistance is dependent on the supply voltage of the unit current. If the Liquid Level Measuring Instrument are used in Ex zones, this may only be operated via a Zener barrier or by an approved Ex feeding unit.
