Gas measurement technology for maximum safety: Precise measurement results in process gas monitoring thanks to maintenance-free, optical NDIR measurement principle.
The measurement of gas concentrations is essential for the protection of man and machine as well as for the monitoring of environmental and process conditions. It is not uncommon for an unintentional leakage of these gases to lead to dangerous situations. Our sensors and transmitters for gas detection support the user in optimal process control and ensure safe environmental conditions.
The detection of the concentration of gases in the air can be realized with different measuring principles. Gas detectors of the ZILA ZMF series rely on the maintenance-free and reliable NDIR measurement method. Non-dispersive infrared absorption (NDIR) uses the absorption of infrared light at different wavelengths to measure gas concentrations depending on the gas to be measured.
The ZILA ZMF series includes sensors & transmitters for a wide range of industries and applications.
Our sensors are extremely robustly designed & suitable for use in harsh environments. Customers use our gas measurement technology to monitor processes in which CO2 is generated or targeted, such as combustion processes, cooling and ripening processes, occupational health and safety, and air quality detection.
In biogas plants, our customers increase safety by specifically measuring the methane concentration. Propane detectors monitor the process gas in refrigeration plants and in industrial welding. In transformer stations, our customers use the SF6 (sulfur hexaflouride) sensor to monitor the insulating and arc quenching gas in electrical power engineering.
