Android app for Fluid.iO safety switching devices now avaiable

The "Smart Pressostat" app is now available for download on Google Play. Users can download the app for free and view the basic functions via a demo mode. The app is compatible with all devices in the ES-2X series. The full range of functions depends on the ES-2X device used.

All ES-2X product family devices are equipped with Bluetooth as standard. With the "Smart Pressostat" app, all configuration, diagnostics and service functions can now be carried out directly via smartphone.

Important functions of the Smart Pressostat app at a glance:

Parameterisation of the ES series via Bluetooth is safe & efficient

In potentially hazardous areas or at hard-to-reach measuring points, users can conveniently operate the ES series devices via smartphone and Bluetooth. This increases safety and also saves time.
To ensure that only authorised persons have access to the device, the electronic safety switching directions of the ES series are additionally protected against unauthorised access by PIN entry.

Integrated data logging

To check and document whether a system is working within the permissible operating parameters with regard to the system pressure, the ES series can be used to carry out a series of measurements to record the system pressure at the process connection. Depending on the application, the measuring time, the interval or a continuous measurement can be set.

Leak test with digital test certificate

When commissioning a system, the devices in the ES series are used for leak testing due to their precise measuring characteristics. For this purpose, the pressure drop and the temperature conditions at the process connection are determined and documented over an adjustable test time. The leak test log is stored in the device and read out using a smartphone.

Retrieve setting and activity logs from the device

The devices in the ES-2x series regularly record various device parameters and store them in the device memory as logs. The app is used to transfer these test results, alarms and device changes to the smartphone in PDF format.
