ACHEMA is a leading international trade fair for the process industry, in particular for the chemical, pharmaceutical and biotechnology sectors. The name "ACHEMA" is derived from "Exhibition for Chemical Apparatus", the original name of the trade fair. The event takes place in Frankfurt am Main and is one of the largest trade fairs of its kind in the world.
At ACHEMA, companies from various sectors present their latest developments, technologies and products in the fields of chemical process engineering, process automation, laboratory and analytical technology, pumps, valves and fittings, as well as in the areas of pharmaceutical and food technology.
The trade fair offers a platform for the exchange of specialised knowledge, the networking of experts and the discussion of current topics in the process industry. In addition to the exhibition, there is also an extensive supporting programme.
